Background & History
The St Peters College Old Boys Association of New South Wales held its inaugural meeting on the 24th of February, 1991, when 16 Old Peterites joined together to form the Association.

Since then the Association has grown in strength and now has a membership of over 200 Old Peterites
Objective
The Association is an “all inclusive” group and is open at all Old Peterites irrespective of their Age, Religion or Race.
Being a Social Club, the main objective of the Association is to organise events in New South Wales where Old Peterites can meet and partake in Fellowship.
Over the years the Association has broadened its Objective to include Philanthropic activities: the main such activity is the Scholarship Fund that was established in 2008 to assist needy, deserving Peterites by paying their annual school fees.
The Association also regularly participates in Sporting Activities and helps fund the various initiatives of the Rugby, Cricket, and other Sports Foundations of St Peters College.
Goals
Each year the Committee sets Goals for that year.
During the past few years the goals have included:
Raise funds for the Association’s various Philanthropic activities such as the Scholarship Fund;
Award a minimum of 25 Scholarships in that year to needy students;
Organise events that fostered fellowship among the Peterite Community, catering to Peterites of all ages;
Participate in various Intra-School sporting activities, such as the “Annual Saints Quadrangular Cricket Tournament”;
Communicate regularly with the Peterites via Social Media and Emails; and
Engage with the Colombo OBA to see how the two Associations can best work together.
Dashboard – 2018
Organised 5 Events, spread throughout the year, to help in fostering fellowship among the Peterite Community;
Raised $9,960+ from the Fund Raiser organised in July;
Awarded 18 Full Scholarships and 3 Part Scholarships to needy under-privileged Peterite students;
Donated $1,000 to the SPC Rugby Foundation to support the development of Junior Rugby;
Increased Peterites on our database;
Trialled mini-Peterite gatherings: Karaoke night and Wine Tasting & Dinner; and
Commenced work on our own website for launch in 2019.
